New Exhibition - Joseph McKenzie: Father of Modern Scottish Photography

With great delight we are announcing our upcoming exhibition: Joseph McKenzie: Father of Modern Scottish Photography
This exhibition will feature a cross-section of McKenzie's work dating between 1948-1970 in London and Scotland, including prints from his important social study of the Glasgow Gorbals Children. We will be displaying both vintage and platinum prints, as well as a box set of prints made by his son, Frank McKenzie.
The exhibition will run in our gallery on 6 WIlliam Street from February 28th - March 29th 2025, and will include a day of talks and an evening reception on the 19th of March.

Frank McKenzie in conversation with Anna Robertson, McManus Gallery, Dundee and Ben Harman, National Galleries of Scotland

VIP Reception - Guests to celebrate the work and legacy of Joseph McKenzie
with presentation by Frank McKenzie
